My first two weeks have been crazy! I've been filing a lot of papers... it's a room full of drawers with folders. In those folders there is the application, personal info, medical info from all the people who work at St. Johns. It's sometimes hard because there are papers that are not labeled so I don't really know in what part of the folder goes... I like it though because it's an easy job I just have to put papers in folders. This week Elisabeth said we were doing something different though, and to be honest i'm a little scare because I've never used a big printer machine it has many functions like scanning which is what she said we were going to be doing.
Well the whole day at my internship was ok... I was filing papers again but this time also scanning. It was kind of easy but it takes a lot of time for me since i'm still getting familiar with the different labels for each paper. It was kind of sad that my supervisor forgot I was there while she was in a meeting... It's been going good though because my supervisor is nice. On Friday I was supposed to scan papers again but my supervisor was really busy so I was filing papers again...
As I said before, my internship was filing papers. We were suppose to do something new than just filing papers but Elizabeth was not there and she arrived like an hour later. We were doing what we were suppose to and she appreciated us. I don't mind filing papers but I admit that it is boring. I did told Ms. Hanson that i wanted to change my internship. I thought about it twice and I decided not to change it. I realize that not everything is fun in life and you cannot have everything you want in life also. This week Elizabeth said that we were going to be doing something new. I am curious to learn new stuff thats about working in the office. I cooperate with Marbeli on filing papers she helps me a lot and I could also ask Elizabeth for help too. I could say that i'm satisfied with my internship and Elizabeth.
